The boho trend is making a comeback this summer especially in accessories. And to that I say “YES” in a big way. With tribal accents, khaki tones and ethnic touches, the Boho look is indeed the best look to sports every summer. And what’s even better is that, boho style now combines with beach style which form the boho beach style, that is sexy yet comfy, Seductive yet creative. I cant wait to sport the Boho beach chic style!
So what is boho and beach chic? And what accents should you look out for when it comes to boho accessories? These 8 trends offer you a quick guide to boho chic, covering everything from ethical accessories to flower power:
1) Boho will be re-incarnated every year. So you might see 'modern rustic' or 'barefoot luxury' or even 'boho rock' as the latest buzzwords, but these are all interpretations of a similar theme that draws on bohemian or hippy inspirations.
2) You don't have to be a hippy, hedonist or free spirit to enjoy the boho beach chic look. Nor do you have to be a celebrity of the likes of Kate Moss or Sienna Miller! It's a just about staying natural and wearing clothes and accessories that aren't just mass-produced, throwaway fashion.
3) Coconut is a great on-trend material in summer boho accessories. Coconut is adaptable - from chunky or delicate slices, and for extra style, can be mixed with base metals like brass.
4) Flower Power is back. Floaty summer dresses and kaftans are on-trend for summer style, and even better if decorated with big daisies or delicate little flowers. The same goes for your accessories: A big flower bracelet is awesome. Or try flower charms in a bracelet or necklace.
5) Natural, eco-friendly materials are great for boho chic. We're talking natural seeds, wooden beads and bangles and anything natural.
6) Recycled materials, like old buttons, coins or fabric used to create a one-off necklace can make a great boho look. After all, it shows that wearing great, original boho accessories isn't just about spending money, but is about being creative and unique.
7) Multiple necklaces, anklets and chunky bracelets will all complement your beach chic look. Boho fashion accessories isn't about being covered in glittering diamonds. You want to wear accessories that will go with gladiator sandals and a floaty blouse.

Boho chic accessories – What’s “In” This Year
Are you tired of wearing accessories that make you feel like you’re just another fashion chic around? Well turn “Boho” and you’ll definitely unique and fashionable. Boho style has been very popular since 2005, although a lot of women already wear it, every Boho style still seems to be very unique because of its “free” and “creative” nature. Boho style is being You.
So being a fashion enthusiast, critic and writer as I am, I can see where Boho chic accessories will be heading this year. The good news is everyone will love what this year’s Boho chic accessories have to offer. Fans of the look that made Sienna Miller a fashion icon will definitely love the over-the-top detail of Boho chic while staying out on those heavy jewelry, metal-adorned belts and shoes that make you feel like a gypsy.
Here are the Boho Chic Accessories that will be “In” this year. Read my fearless forecast and enjoy.
1. Bold accessories will remain a staple in every fashion-forward woman's wardrobe. Sorry Boho Chic haters, belts and boots look like they have staying power along with pendants, over-sized earrings, long chains and drop earrings.
2. Stones, feathers and shells that decorated the ears will be replaced by rhinestone-encrusted chandeliers and delicate drops.
3. The long necklaces paired with the over-stated earrings will morph slightly from heavy, multi-layered, multi-stone piece to a simpler, chic, one-strand accessory. But the length and materials remain the same (gold still the winner).
4. Ultra-rich fabrics like lace and brocade are the hottest additions this year for boho scarves, headbands and dresses.
5. The unfailing black along with gray and purple are the most popular for jaw-dropping dresses. But colorful dresses can be amazing too.
6. The feminine, flowy look will still be desirable, but it will be achieved with blouson skirts and culottes instead of sheer, floor-length numbers.
7. Your favorite over-stated Boho belts and bracelets can still work out this year if you want to have a touch of rock chic in your boho style.
8. If you're still worried about shifting from fun and flirty to dark and serious, mix fabrics to achieve an even more eclectic look: there are NO rules this season about mixing tweeds and velvet or brocades with lace. More than anything, have fun mixing your existing styles with a totally new style to find your personal fit--fall and winter will bring plenty of opportunity to get away with experimenting.
Boho Chic Accessories – The Boho Bags
As for me, there are four major trademarks of the Boho style:
1. Neutal, earthy colouts contraster with bright colors
2. Hand made, home made, ethnic, creative
3. Statement jewelry that often shouts out “Freedom”
4. The Boho Bag
Your Boho look wouldn’t be complete without a Boho bag. That I assure! Out of all the Boho chic accessories, Boho bag is the most important. You can drop those bracelets or earring or that belt. But the Boho bag will definitely still complete your great Boho dress or tunic tops
What to look for in Boho bags:
1. Quality – Just because it says Boho bag, doesn’t mean it is sloppy, old and vintage. Quality must be the first thing to look out for in any bags.
2. Color – Do you have more browns or greens? Your boho bag should match your wardrobe to get maximum use out of that bag.
3. Size – Traditionally, boho bags are big with lots of room. But you can now get them in a range of sizes according to your needs and lifestyle. The bag should be useful for you.
4. Details - Will make or break your style. Boho bags are designed with braids, fringe, chain detail, tassel, studs, flowers, sheels etc. Choose the best that will compliment your other regular accessories.
Boho bags are the hottest trends right now in the fashion world. These fashionable bags come in many different colors and designs. Most of them are made of leather materials, silk materials, beads, cotton and many other Indian traditional materials. The designs of these bags come in different patches and patterns, which makes them a must have for fashion minded individuals.
These bags are very colorful and suits perfectly for any event. You can mix match it with any outfit and it will still come out looking great. These bags come in several shapes and sizes for your many different purposes. You can use the small sized bags for special events, while you use the big bags when you need to have lots of thing put in the bag for your day-to-day activities. The big handbags come handy because you can carry many things inside, like for colleges or work.
For a perfect bohemian look and the best among all boho chic accessories, it is best that once you are dressed up in your beautiful boho outfit, that you compliment it with a Boho bag. Dressing up completely in a boho style makes you look more chic and fully in vogue. Trust me; nothing grabs attention more than a person completely dressed in a colorfully looking Bohemian style.
Boho Accessories – The Boho Earrings
Boho style is one that many possibly look casual but ius pretty colorful and fascinating to put on. It allows an individual’s creativity to shine behind this free flowing tops or bottoms. But most importantly Boho style is a lot more effective when you put a lot of boho accessories. Like scarves, bangles, bracelets, neck lets and of course boho "bead made" long and dangling earrings. Personally, the fashion accessory that I love the most is the earring. I have an earrings collection and I’ve always been a part of boho dangling earrings. They are one of my most favorite earring styles (diamonds is of course amongst my favorites too.)
Boho earrings are unique, handmade from organic materials like stones, cherished gems and beads. These earrings can be worn for any event whatsoever. For informal events, I will advice that you go with the light weighted styles, which will make you feel very comfortable, and for formal events, you could go for a chunkier earring like the peacock patterns or the quite glamorous styles that will set that further glow to your look. If you are sporting a gown with a deep neckline, then it is finest you put on a extremely lengthy and dangling boho earring to enable elongate and fill up your wonderful neck. These danglers are your ideal "in vogue" among all boho accessories that can be used to spice up your outfits. Inculcating these earrings to your every day look will make you stylish
And this year, there are new developments on Boho earrings - new with a touch of the old. Today's Boho stylish seem is gazing back again at late 1960's to early 1970's flower-electric power trend. It's also taking inspiration from 1960s trend icon Talitha Getty, whose free-spirit, loaded-hippie everyday life design is now so trendy. We can also obtain inspiration from the African deserts and the south-American standard textiles.
For other boho accessories style updates, this year we are looking on to a lot of transparent components with a lot of layers, a great search could be - tunic, vest, lengthy skirt, a vast belt on the waistline and on the feet we will uncover gladiator leather flat sandals or a wooden wedge sandal. A choice to the very long skirts and dresses are the broad, large waistline jeans which are generating a significant come back this year. Select a stone washed pair and use it with a tunic or a loose t-shirt and a pair of flat sandals, like flip-flops. Don't overlook about the most necessary issue, components! As quite a few big wooden bangles your wrists can carry on. And remember; pick earthy hues like rust-red, mustard-yellow, moss-green, brown and a touch of turquoise.

Boho Tops Rules Fashion World
One of the most popular fashion styles that recently made a comeback is the boho chic style. Boho stands for bohemian, which originated in the early 1900's and resurfaced in the 1960's and finally came back again. And boy am I glad it came back! Because Boho is my thing. And I love Boho style.
Finding the right boho tops will surely get some compliments and draw some attention. You can accessorize just as you would if you were wearing a dress.
Modern Boho Tops Blouses
The most common bohemian top you will find is a modernized version of a tunic shirt that has been "fitted" like a blouse. These are modernized versions of boho that allows you to take part in the trend without having to do much actual wardrobe planning. Features usually include: Thin synthetic material with printed bold colors.
Plain Top and Bohemian Skirt
Another option you have is to use the plain Boho tops you already have and buy a boho skirt. The formula is simple for this more tasteful look. Buy a boho skirt and match it up with the plain boho tops you already own. Plain colors seem to work the best because they are more of a frame or background. If you wear plaid or stripes you might end up with a busy and confusing look. This is a good casual pairing that will work for many occasions in the spring through fall.
Simplest Boho Top
The simplest bohemian top you can wear is the tie dyed t-shirt. It's a classic dress down bohemian style top that never seems to go all the way out of style.
Ask yourself these questions when choosing boho tops to get the best looking you in the clothes that you buy:
Are these clothes flattering to my body? If you have large arms or a large butt, you are going to have to think about that when buying. Generally, traditional boho dresses and tops look good on larger women, but the modern tight fitting blouses usually don't do anything for your fat arms or belly rolls.
What kind of material is this bohemian top made of? Bohemian clothing should be as natural as possible. Genuine materials include cotton, wool, linen, and even leather and silk.
How will I accessorize? Accessories can make or break an outfit, and if you don't have boho consistent accessories it won't matter how great the top is. Once again, natural materials are best including wood, stone, or silver cuff bangles, leather cuffs, glass beads, leather sandals, over-sized ear rings, etc.

Wearing a tunic can be very flattering to nearly any woman's figure, including those who are of a larger build, as tunics can give the appearance of a slimmer look. Plus size boho chic tunic tops have become a staple for women with a little more to cover. The tunic is an item that is worn in a variety of ways. The styles are trendy and provide a good compliment to other items of clothing. Plus size Tunic tops are designed to cover those problem areas. The garment hangs almost to the mid-thigh and covers the bulges we would rather not have attention drawn to.
The following are the top 3 styles in tunic tops for this season.
1. Wave Print Tunic Top - A fashionable top with a banded empire wait that also includes strategically placed darts to give it a ruffling effect. The print looks as if someone used a brush to paint the waves onto the fabric. The color is reminiscent of beach sand that gives the wearer a flattering appearance with a dramatic flare. The tunic is made of and cool knit that is imported and woven with a bit of spandex for just the right amount of hold. The item is machine washable and cost as little as 27.00.

The tunic is a fashionable and flattering garment with full dolman sleeves that hang just below the elbow with a small cuff. Made from imported Pima cotton and can be worn for special occasions or everyday use. You can get one in denim, white or black and they are excellent items to match with pants or skirts in your existing wardrobe. At 16.00 this tunic that hang a full 33 inches is great deal.
3. Monaco Tunic - If you have a bit more to keep under wraps this is the perfect tunic for that. The top is a bit longer than most and sports a "V" shaped neckline. It is 35 inches long, giving you more room in the midsection and. It hangs almost to mid thigh covering up what you want to keep hidden.
The tunic has a pocket to further accentuate the stylish but pleated yet, modern look in the front. Side slits and other detailing makes this top one that can handle days in the office and nights on the town. You can get in black, watermelon and lime. Made form imported cotton with a hint of spandex.
Dress to impress this season and look good and feel great.
Plus Size Boho Chic Styles For This Year
Hi there my avid fashion readers. Today I’m going to share to you, one of my fearless fashion forecast for this year. And today, we are giving it over to the plus size women. This year’s fashion for plus size women follows the lead of the stars; a celebration of curves, enhanced with vibrant colors, touches of sparkle and sumptuous fabrics. And more Boho. That’s right. This year, the Boho trend is taking the celebrity world. And now, it’s taking the plus size world by storm and plus sze boho chic styles are the new trend.
And why not? Boho look is perfect for all plus size. It is quite loose, comfortable but at the samt time, hugged the curves of a plus size. Today, we are going to talk about one of the best plus size boho chic tops – the kimono tops. I just found out some great Kimono tops at Johnn Was and when I saw it I said “Gone are the over-sized tees and knits of old, replaced by kimono tops, it embellished empire waisted designs and sexy knits crafted carefully to enhance feminine curves. This is my new style to rock”
The kimono style top, with wider sleeves, an a-line hem, v-neck and empire waist tie back is the natural choice for enhancing the curvy frame. Wide sleeves, in short, or three-quarter length make the arms appear thinner and create an upside down triangle shape; wider at the shoulder, narrower at the waist. The empire tie back waist highlights the smallest part of most women's torso, the area approximately 5 inches below the base of the bust. Not the true waist, which often carries extra padding. The slight a-line hem of the kimono softly falls over tummy to the hips, never clinging. When fitted correctly, the kimono should flow softly over the bust, cinching at the empire waist and flowing softly to the hem, creating a beautiful hour-glass shape. Try a traditional silk Asian motif, or vibrant mod pattern for season current style.
The embellished, empire waisted design flatters for many of the same reasons the kimono does; the littlest part of the torso, the empire waist is highlighted and the top flows softly into an a-line hem, elongating the body and flattering the tummy and hips. Jeweled medallion detailing, beading and Grecian goddess inspired embellishments at the empire waist are gorgeous design trends finally available in curve friendly sizes. Such bold embellishments appear to be made for the plus-size frame; statement medallions and beading are proportionately correct for the curvy frame. Look for a narrow v-neck to elongate the neck and flatter the bust, a wide v-neck may show off ample decollete but in turn makes the torso appear wider and chose fabric that flows softly over the body in a solid color for a flattering, statement making look!
With each passing year, plus size options in the fashion world become increasingly mainstream much to the delight of the curvy community. With a plethora of style options, self-expression via fashion is finally feasible regardless of size! So enjoy the plus size boho chic today and next time, we are going to discuss more trends and styles for plus size here at my blog.
